Blog feedback and learner response

WWW: You’ve made such a brilliant start to A Level Media – well done! Your blog is fully up to date and your blog posts are detailed and thoughtful without exception. From the analysis of the film posters to your reflection on the mise-en-scene recreation this is exactly what I want to see in a top-level blog. Having the 10 introductory questions post on your coursework blog was a bonus (it only needed to be on the exam blog) and it allowed me to see your ambition to secure an A/A* grade. Well, I’d say you’ve made the perfect start so far – keep up the good work!

EBI: I’ll be honest, it’s hard to fault what you’ve done so far and you’re also contributing superbly in lessons too. One element I did notice was quite a few typos in your blog-posts – are you using a phone or tablet to complete the work? Most of them read like auto-correct errors rather than an issue with written English but it’s one we can keep an eye on.

LR: Create a blog posts on your Media 2 Coursework blog called ‘Blog feedback and learner response’, copy this feedback in and then complete the following learner response.

Reflect on your first month of Film & TV Language. What aspect of Film & TV language have you most enjoyed studying? What is your strongest piece of work so far? What is your weakest? What specific skills or knowledge do you need to develop before we start coursework at the end of Year 12?

By focusing the story around Martin Rauch, a young East German border guard going undercover in the west, it doesn’t just make the viewer empathise with a Stasi agent on a human level – in the way The Lives of Others did – it makes us engage with the socialist regime’s worldview, in which a military exercise in West Germany poses a potentially existential threat. 3) Find three 'below the line' comments from either of the Guardian articles. What did the audience th

Mise-en-scene recreation: Learner response

Feedback: Overall, his is a superb recreation of a challenging scene: well done! Excellent performances + costume : several elements of mise-en-scene are clearly considered here. so many nice touches and he conversation is edited impressively - good pace to it Audio levels and one moment where Cassius looks a he camera provide us with some EBI's but this is a great start to media Class Feedback: Face punch could've been more explosive (more AGGRESSION) Costume was good Location was alright Good camera work Audio varies a lot (background audio) Lighting not night  Actor looking into camera punch sound effect Own assessment: WWW: i believe hat overall the setting was pretty good for being a little run down with a car park while he costume was also faithful to the scene as it creates he look and feel of the characters that of Tyler being a little random with a leather jacket and floral shirt and he narrator having a suit, as if he had just finished work. Also the camera work was
